President Donald Trump addressed questions about his health on Sunday during a speech at a U.S. Navy celebration, highlighting his relationship with Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas), who served as his physician during his first term in office.
“He was my doctor in the White House, and I got to know him very well. He was also the doctor for Barack Hussein Obama… and even for a man named Bush,” Trump said, speaking to thousands of sailors in a rally-style address.
Jackson’s experience includes serving on the White House medical team under President George W. Bush, before becoming presidential physician under both Obama and Trump.
Trump emphasized the trust and admiration he developed for Jackson, setting the stage for a surprising comparison.
