Washington, D.C. has become the center of a sharp political escalation, as Republican Representative Buddy Carter formally requested a federal investigation into activist organizations connected to billionaire George Soros. In a letter to the Department of Justice, Carter accused these groups of channeling funds that he claims have supported domestic unrest and promoted violent actions overseas.
Carter’s letter alleges that millions of dollars have flowed through Soros-backed entities, citing what he describes as ties to violent riots and pro-Hamas messaging. He criticized the Department of Justice for remaining inactive despite what he frames as growing public concern, suggesting that this inaction represents a pattern of inconsistent enforcement.
