My Brother Left His Newborn Son in My Yard 27 Years Ago, Two Days Ago, He Returned and Blamed Me for It

Twenty-seven years ago, my life changed in an instant when my brother left his newborn son on my doorstep. From that moment, I took on a responsibility I never asked for—but one I embraced with all my heart. I raised the child, loved him, and watched him grow into a remarkable man.

I remember that frigid morning as if it happened yesterday. A tiny baby boy, wrapped in a thin blanket, lay crying in a basket on my front step.
