A longtime housekeeper was dismissed from a Palm Beach estate owned by billionaire real estate developer William Ashcroft after being accused of stealing valuable jewelry. Days later, surveillance footage from inside the property revealed that the accusation was false, exposing a deliberate setup by a senior member of the household staff and prompting a reversal that reshaped the outcome for everyone involved.

Angela Brooks, 42, had worked as a professional housekeeper for more than ten years, supporting her teenage son while building a reputation for reliability and discretion in high-end homes. Her most recent position was at Ashcroft’s oceanfront residence, where she maintained daily operations that included cleaning, meal preparation, and household organization.
