Erika Kirk Says Charlie Left Her ‘Everything’ To Continue His Mission

Erika Kirk, widow of conservative commentator and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, revealed in a recent interview that her late husband had been preparing her to take over his work long before his tragic assassination earlier this month at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

Speaking with broadcaster Glenn Beck, Erika shared that Charlie had quietly laid out detailed plans for the organization’s future. “I think Charlie prepared me for this, and I didn’t even know it,” she said. Beck recounted that she found a collection of documents and notes left behind by her husband, including strategic plans and financial outlines stretching into 2028.

Erika also discovered that Charlie had kept a private daily journal she hadn’t known about, which included reflections and future goals for both his media ventures and the Turning Point organizations.

In a separate report, it was noted that Charlie shared a special connection with his young daughter. Each time he hosted his show, he brought along one of her toys—a small ritual that made her feel part of his broadcasts. “That was their little connection,” Erika said. “He loved it because it was a piece of her he could take on the show.”
