Billionaire Bill Ackman Makes $10,000 Donation to Support ICE Agent After Minneapolis Incident

On a cold morning in early January, Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old mother of three, followed her usual routine in her Minneapolis neighborhood, unaware that the day would end in fatal circumstances.

Good, remembered by neighbors and friends as kind, dedicated to her children, and actively engaged in her community, encountered officers from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during what authorities described as a routine operation.

Officials later stated that the situation escalated when Good allegedly attempted to drive away. Video footage that later circulated online appeared to show her vehicle moving in the direction of an ICE agent during the encounter.

Shortly afterward, an officer fired his weapon, killing Good. Authorities initially said the agent believed he was facing an immediate threat, a justification that quickly drew public scrutiny and intense debate.

Those close to Good described her final moments very differently. Family members and friends said she was cautious, deeply focused on her children, and unlikely to act recklessly. Her death sent shockwaves through Minneapolis, particularly within her close-knit community, where she was widely known as a supportive and nurturing presence.
