Forever Six: Aëla’s Unbreakable Spirit
On the morning of May 16, 2025, after nearly a year of fighting, Aëla’s earthly journey ended at just six years old. Her mother, Meg Rolland, described the moment with poignant words:
“It is with a very heavy heart and great sorrow that Aëla flew into the sky with Peter Pan this morning near Paulin and I.”
Though the loss was unimaginable, there was beauty in the image of her spirit soaring freely, no longer bound by pain. She didn’t merely pass away—she flew.
Aëla’s absence is deeply felt. Her bed lies empty, favorite songs echo differently, and every corner of her home carries traces of her presence. Yet she remains more than memory—she is a living presence in her family’s hearts. Her legacy is not measured by years but by the love, joy, and magic she imparted. Her family remembers her as:
Forever six. Forever cherished. Forever present.
Her short life was rich with music, laughter, curiosity, bravery, and light. Aëla’s spirit continues in every twirl of a child, every song sung to comfort, and every dream of flying freely. She taught that life’s value is measured by depth, love, and presence, not by its length.
Aëla’s story is a call to cherish each moment, to notice the small wonders, and to live with openness and generosity. Her life, though brief, was a masterpiece of light and love.
Rest in heaven, sweet Aëla. You were too precious for this world, but you leave it brighter, fuller, and forever inspired by your light.
Forever six.
Forever loved.
Forever dancing.
Forever singing.
Forever free.
